Burgandi's Blessing

Burgandi was so beautiful in her blessing dress. She was very good during the blessing and did not make even a peep. We love her big blue eyes. They light up her face.
Allie, Burgandi, Nate, Shyanne and Lance the day of Burgandi's blessing. We are so blessed to have such a great family.

Lance was baptized by his dad, Nate, our son on December 6. It was so much fun. There was lots of family there. Lance thought it would be freaky, but said it was great and wanted to do it again.

Russ enjoyed Burgandi and Vince. He loves holding babies. This is such a good picture of Russ, Brenda's brother.

All were digging in and the company was great. Thanksgiving is always such a great time. We love having family over. All of our children, spouses, grandchildren, Brenda's parents and her brother, Russ were there.
The table was set and the rolls were rising over on the counter. Good times and good food ahead.

Trip to Grammie and Grandads

Grammie finally got her turn to hold Burgandi. She was very comfortable. It is so good to see the generations and the love that is there.

Allie and Brenda went out to Grammies and Grandad's on Saturday, so that Allie could do Grammies hair, we cut her toenails and shampoed the carpet. Grandad had fun holding Burgandi. He put her right to sleep after talking to her for awhile.

What a great day this has been. We went to dinner and then we had a few of the best trick or treaters that a person could have. Grandchildren are by far the best. We enjoyed our children and still do, but there is just something about grandkids. Robert has always said that we should be grandparents first and then we would make the best parents.

Centennial Plaza

The Centenial Plaza opened up and Robert has been moved to work there instead of at the facility under the freeway. As they were building, they offered bricks with messages to be bought by RTC employees. We are so glad that Robert decided to buy one to represent our family. Of course, Lance was a little tiffed that his name was not there. In hindsight, maybe we should have bought one that said Turley Grandchildren, but we don't think we are done having grandkids, so we did not want to put their names. Anyway, it is way cool and fun to have this brick. We can walk down and visit Robert very easily now as it is not that far away. Vince enjoyed the walk down there in his hot ride. We toured the facility and it is very nice. Robert's new office is nice even though he will share it with others when he is off.

Trunk or Treat

Allie and a very tired Burgandi. Cutest ladybug ever.
Kandice, Justin and their little one, Vince as a turtle at the Trunk or Treat. He was fast asleep.
Nate, Shy and Lance were Oakland A's. Lance said that his dad was his coach. Shy was the cheerleader. Pictures tell all. What a cute bunch of kids for Halloween. Burgandi was a little ladybug. She slept through the whole thing.
All four grandkids plus their moms. What a great picture.
Vince woke up and what a great turtle he was. Don't you just want to kiss that face.

Lance's Birthday Party

Lance wanted a Star Wars theme for his party. Kandice and Brenda made this cake. It was their first time working with fondant.
Everybody in line ready to get going. Lance was thrilled to be with his Dad. Shy is in the rear with her Uncle Justin.
Nate and Lance and then Stacey with her son, Justin coming around the corner. Justin and Shy were separated from the group, but had fun.
Lance putting.
Shy got two holes in one. This was one of them.
The gang all watching Justin try to putt one in.
Kandice showing her golf ball after getting a hole in one.
Brenda got one hole in one also.
Lance got the most important hole in one of all. He got it on the last hole and won a free game of golf. Happy Birthday to Lance.
